Things To Do at Gus' Place Resort

A really great resort has lots of amenities for its guests and we are no exception to that rule. There is a wide variety of things to do here, both on the water and off. The young and old alike will love our big sandy swimming beach. There's plenty of room to stretch out on a chaise lounge or beach towel and soak up the warm sun. Or you can build a great sandcastle complete with moat at the water's edge. Get in the water and take our kayaks out for a spin or paddle along the beautiful shoreline in one of our paddleboats. There is great fishing right off our docks with a variety of fish caught there including walleye, bass, northern, crappie, perch and panfish.

Our volleyball area, basketball hoop, and horseshoe pits are always a big hit. You can try your hand at our new tetherball, or challenge the whole family to a game of croquet. Aim for a hole-in-one on our new four-hole golf course or lay back and relax in a hammock. We have a swing set, a teeter-totter, and a large sandbox. There are miles of hiking and biking trails right outside the resort and several ATV trails close by as well.

Visit the lodge and take advantage of the pinball machines, video game and pool table. We sell candy, ice cream treats, and offer resort apparel there as well. There are pop machines outside. You can also check out a variety of board games and books.
